Mediation

David Bouschor has been one of the leading attorneys in the mediation area both as a mediator and as the founder and president of the Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (DCAP). DCAP is an award winning Alternative Dispute Resolution Center that was organized in 2004 and has become the corner stone of mediation in Denton County, Texas. DCAP is a joint effort using the talents, resources and time of the Denton County Commissioners Court, The Denton County Bar Association, and DCAP. David has successfully mediated two party and up to five party mediations in Denton and surrounding counties.

The mediation process is used in all areas of the law in Texas. For years mediation has been used very successfully in Family law and Probate/Guardianship law. Most if not all Family law cases will go to mediation before a litigated trial and mediation is now one of the tools that collaborative law is using when the parties find them selves in a tough corner.
